从另一个类访问@IBOutlet

我目前正在制作一个路线跟踪应用程序来教我的自我。我有基本的功能处理正在跟踪的路由和从单个SessionController类中绘制的折线,但我想将类拆分为单独的对象。

这是我遇到问题的地方。我把所有更新位置的代码和绘制多边形等的代码放到它自己的类MapView.swift中,然后留下@IBOutlets用于按钮,mapView等。在SessionController.swift中但是现在我无法访问@IBOutlet for mapView允许新的MapView.swift类更新当前位置,更新折线等。

当我尝试ctrl +拖动mapView @IBOutlet到MapView.swift ViewController没有任何反应。

所以,我要问的是如何链接这两个类以允许访问Session Controller中的mapView来更新当前位置。

我一直在寻找协议和代理,但我不太确定如何实现它们,或者即使这是正确的方法。

mapScreen = (storyboard?.instantiateViewController(withIdentifier: "mapScreen") as! MapView)

但从来没有像这样设置它的mapView属性:

mapScreen = (storyboard?.instantiateViewController(withIdentifier: "mapScreen") as! MapView)
mapScreen.mapView = mapView
