问题是你的MySQL / J连接器太新了，Liferay还不兼容它。
liferay/tomcat-xxxxx/lib/ext文件夹并删除你在里面找到的任何mysql-connector-xxxxxxxxx.jarmysql-connector-java-5.1.xx-bin.jardrop database lportal;然后create database lportal character set utf8;）。
