For example: This gauge has a fixed Min of 0 and a Max of -75. The value inputted associated with {*Datapoint} is the number that falls between that min and max.

The end outcome would work something like this: you should be able to enter the {Min} and {Max} for the range and the {Gauge} input should be a number that falls between the two and is the value that actually changes the height of the bar of the gauge.
