Apache服务器子目录页面不显示

我使用的是 LAMP 在我的ubuntu 12.04系统上。当我浏览任何位于我的varwww文件夹内的子目录或子页面时，它的显示方式是

Not Found

但该文件已经存在于该子目录中。所以，谁能好心地告诉我，为什么我得到这个错误？任何帮助和建议都将非常感激。谅谅

chmod -R 775 /var/www/html/subfolder

chmod -R 775 /var/www/subfolder
